Title: Mother's Favorite Date Pudding

Yield: 1 Servings

1 Egg
1cDates; chopped
1cBoiling water
3/4cNuts; chopped
1tsSoda
1/2tsBaking powder
3/4cSugar
1tbShortening
1pnSalt
1 3/4cFlour
1tsVanilla

In the boiling water add egg, dates, and nuts. Mix the remaining ingredients together and then mix with the original mixture. Bake for about 30 minutes at 325°.
